Default 1989 oiler linkage

electrical...check, throttle opening correctly....check, now for the arm going down to oil pump .... where is this supposed to get connected on carb, right now its on the outside ball. wasnt hooked up when i got it just had the coat hanger hanging there ran it on inside for a while and got scared that it wasnt getting enoughoil... where is it supposed to be. dont want to burn up my $100 beater

I would go ahead and eliminate it and mix gas at 100:1

I would second that. Me personally I don't want to have to wonder if the oil pump is working correctly or not. If you mix you own oil you know that it is getting the proper amount. Seems that you wont foul as many plugs that way either.

i agree with disconnecting it, my auto oiler went out 10 days after I bought my marathon, motor blew, $350.00's later and complete rebuild I eliminated the oiler
