stereo question

I would not hook up the orange wire unless you want the radio dimmed all the time. If power is applied, it thinks the vehicle lights are on and will dim the display on the radio. You should be able to manually change the brightness of the screen in the menu. Just my 2 cents.

Thanks guys your info really helped me out a lot. I got the stereo installed just need to find a new place for the speakers (decided not to put in cubby holes)
