g8 one speed SLOW!
I've got a g8 that only goes one speed, slow. Batteries new and load checked. Throttle pot checked ok. Diodes continuity checked ok. Is it the controller? I'd hate to spend a fortune on one and it be something else. Solenoid relatively new and seems to be working, clicks. Reverse is of course faster.

Re: g8 one speed SLOW!
Problem solved! The micro switch for the backup buzzer was the problem. Someone suggested I unhook it. I did and it runs fine now. I don't understand it but it kept me from spending big bucks on a controller or new cart..

how did you unhook the micro switch for the back up buzzer? I'm having the same problem and the buzzer is annoying anyway

Re: g8 one speed SLOW!
If you don't replace the micro switch, at least put a toggle switch in it to slow it down when the kids are driving it.
