Re: shocks for a g1
Hay thank you guys, I will look for honda FRONT not rear shock right?
Do you guys have rear seats or a box on them? I would like to put a rear seat on my cart so I do need shocks that will handle some weight. I bout the cart with a 6" lift I my have do some work on the lift kit for the longer shocks. |

Re: shocks for a g1
Looks like your buggy has a Jakes lift kit in it. You will need stock-length shocks to fit your present setup or make new rear shock brackets to match whatever length shocks you purchase.

Re: shocks for a g1
Thank you guys for the help.
Ha I think it is a jakes. If I get the honda shocks that are longer I could make some new rear mounts like GMB74 did. The front, I think I can move the shock mounts up. hey Tonka329 how about some pic of your g1. |

Re: shocks for a g1
I put heavy duty springs on my factory rear shocks and have a 4" lift. If I purchase 400 ex shocks all around Can I use the heavy duty springs on the 400 ex shocks ?

Re: shocks for a g1
I don't think the HD springs will fit on the body of a 400EX shock...
