G22 wont charge.
My 2004 g22 wont fully charge and if you try and ride it, it starts to die in about 5 minutes. What are some things i can check to make sure everything is okay.
Thanks, Ryan |

Re: G22 wont charge.
Are you saying the charger will not go to "green" fully charge? Do you have the "Mac" charger? How old are your batteries? If there original 2004, 6 years old, could be the problem. Give us somemore info and I'm shure we can be of more help. Good luck.

Re: G22 wont charge.
Ok...The charger, silver/say's Yamaha on the front and has a series of lites on the left hand side? That would be a Mac. Does the charger lites go thru a series of lites (when pugged into the cart) and after a few seconds, the "yellow" charge lite come on? Should also hear the transformer hum.

Re: G22 wont charge.
My dad was sir...I'm just dave Put a volt meter on the battery set (with out charger plugged in ) should read above 48 volts more like 51 volts, now plug in the charger, if really charging volts should slowly go up and after time it could reach as high at 62 volts. This just verifies its charging. Let us know what you find.
