Default G16 new Trojans doggin it uphill

I have had a 1996 g16 36v for several months.

It just doggs it uphill. I have recently put in T-105 batteries and 4ga cables, the cart got a little more stout and runs a smidge faster but the exact same uphill.

It has the feeling of a cart with 6 year old batteries failing after running for a half day. We get up the hill reasonably but it drops to probably 2-3 mph or so.

Can anyone give me a direction? I don't mind replacing a controller, solenoid or whatever, but i need a little pull.

Thanks guys.
Robert

I'd start with a little larger controller, don't go too big or you will have to replace other "stuff". Bigger tires and wheels will help some but not much. You'd be surprised what a 350 amp. controller will do for you.

you need to break the new batteries in...........once you do you,ll gain some power and a bit of speed but its gonna take 15 or so complete charge/discharge cycles new batteriesc are only about 75% so its normal to dogg it for awhile................................
