Cart Smoking at Startup
Ok. Let me explain myself. I bought an 05 txt that was basically a re-manufactured cart from a local dealer. It was lifted and has tires and wheels had new paint...looked brand new. I have changed the oil and put synthetic in it..1.5qts. It is right at the top of the dipstick. When I crank it it has a little white-gray smoke at the start and clears out. I know alot of you say that when you change the oil on a lifted cart it should be at 1/2 -3/4 of dipstick with 1.5 qts. Mine was at the top. Now I didn't jack my cart up on passengers side when draining the oil. So, I am hoping that some oil was still in there and I am over full for a lifted cart. I smoked a little worse this weekend at the lake having to go up and down hills. Anymore ideas? Maybe bad valve seals? Thanks

It sounds like you have overfilled the oil to me. Did it smoke before you changed the oil ?

Maybe a little. But the oil level was at full then. I did tweak governor and then changed oil.
