Once you get the pot mounted and working properly with the gas peddle it is just a mater of the two throttle input leads going to the controller. So yeah, it wouldn't matter where you mounted it.
Your F&R switch may be a bigger challenge?

Cool. Scotty used my pic from my recent conversion! He also shipped an angle that was attached to the bell assembly. Since my cart had the angle welded on, all I had to do was redrill the hole so my new bell crank assy would work properly. Great conversion kit nicely priced.

What is price of throttle conversion kit and where can it be purchased? I'm in the process of doing 81 CC 36 to 48 conversion,and have all items purchased but throttle upgrade

You could just run it the way it is (36V) and get the motor re-worked by Plum Quick? Asphalt and grass is what the cart was originally designed for.
