That's cool. Still think the bearing should be good. Called my freinds about the housing/axle today, haven't heard back from them yet. Design flaw?, seen them last for almost 27 years or so, you should be good.

The flaw being complicated replacement!I don't doubt the longevity,Look at axle bearings in cars/trucks.I had an 83' Chevy my old boss bought new,It has 550,000 miles and the rear is original except for brake-stuff!The axles are under my 87' and its' still going and still untouched!
