stereo goes off
I installed a 12 volt car stereo in a 36 volt Yamaha cart. It works fine for about 10-15 minutes and then goes out for about 5-10 minutes. It goes on and off like this continually. What is wrong?

Re: stereo goes off
how do you have it hooked up to your batteries should be using two batteries in a series if its a 36 bolt. you may have it hooked up wrong.

Re: stereo goes off
did u check to see if the voltage was fluctuating. check your voltage with a volt meter make sure your two batteries are giving u 12 volt and not more or less.

sounds like the two batteries are dropping below 12v which will cause the radio to drop out but not off. try using a 36V - 12V reducer this will hold your power at 12v. This will use all 6 batteries instead of just 2 |
