Default Re: Idea: an "unlimited button"

Hello, I have a 2011 Precedent with the Xcelerator kit installed. In addition I have 12 inch wheels with low profile tires. I am currently running 21-23 mph. The cart will be used on pavement and very flat golf course. I would like more speed due to we use the cart within our community.

My question is if I can install 8:1 gears and a heavy duty clutch spring with the Xcelerator kit?

I am open to any other ideas as well. Thanks!

You can install high speed gears to help with your speed, but I wouldn't mess with the clutch.

TahoeDawg, do you have a link to one of those xcelerator kits for a ds?

I'd machine the drive clutch. You get 4more mph with the same rpm. Do it all the time.

No, unfortunately I don't have any information on it other than what I know.
