Battery Recommendations
I'm re-doing a 1965 EZ GO Electric golf cart. 36 volt motor. It takes (6) 6 volt deep cell batteries. What brand / type of batteries do you recommend? Thak you in advance!!!

Re: Battery Recommendations
The Trojan T105 is the standard by which all other 6v GC batteries are judged. It is a 220 amp hour battery. The only one I recall which exceeds it in it's size is the Crown CR225. There are taller batteries (T145) which have more capacity.

Re: Battery Recommendations
talking batteries, in the spring when I convert to 48v.... if I can't find 08 batteries like the trojen's I have, and end up betting 2 new ones, I understand they will take on the 'condition', or act like the other 5 yr old batteries..? I've tried ebay and craigs, no old batteries to be found..and buying 8 new ones might be beyond my budget.. advise...??

Re: Battery Recommendations
Check with battery shops. They should have used ones that were traded in but still have life left in them.

Re: Battery Recommendations
Golf cart dealers and repair shops too. They always have some good used batteries!
