Anyone have any advice/instructions for this. Cart is blowing lots of white smoke and fuoling the plug bad. I hope this will fix it... Going to clean the clutch up also. I just hope to get the compression back up and get a little more torque with the 200 rpm spring... Any help would be surely appreciate I know u guys have been there and done it. Thanks in advance!

You did the compression test? What was the pressure?

Re: Kf82 ring and piston job
Have not done the test yet, Going to get a tester today... There is oil all over the spark plug. So I am assuming that it needs a ring job in a bad way. I know the compression is really low.

Re: Kf82 ring and piston job
Yeah, I may try and do a motor swap before I get to deep into this motor. My issue is I really have no Idea what I would need to get it done besides buying the motor.....

Re: Kf82 ring and piston job
well check out the swap forums it really doesnt take much and if you sell some of the old parts ignitor and such you might be able to do it on the cheap

Re: Kf82 ring and piston job
98 psi was the pressure a lot better that I thought it would be. Still the spark plug has a ton of black liquid around it that smells like oil and a mix of gas

Re: Kf82 ring and piston job
Start with an oil change it may just be the oil has been thinned down with to much gas due to carb flooding , who knows it just might work
