You did the compression test? What was the pressure?

Have not done the test yet, Going to get a tester today... There is oil all over the spark plug. So I am assuming that it needs a ring job in a bad way. I know the compression is really low.

Hoping the kit I purchased will fix it. Comes with the rings and the piston... If It doesnt fix it I may be looking for a new cyclinder.

Yeah, I may try and do a motor swap before I get to deep into this motor. My issue is I really have no Idea what I would need to get it done besides buying the motor.....

well check out the swap forums it really doesnt take much and if you sell some of the old parts ignitor and such you might be able to do it on the cheap

98 psi was the pressure a lot better that I thought it would be. Still the spark plug has a ton of black liquid around it that smells like oil and a mix of gas

Start with an oil change it may just be the oil has been thinned down with to much gas due to carb flooding , who knows it just might work
