Even with the zip tie mod the cart won't hit the limiter every time you get to WOT, especially if you don't run wide open for very long. In other words if you are just cruising down the street and have it to the floor for a few hundred yards it may not (or I'd even say probably won't) hit the rev limiter. If you hold it to the floor going down a hill or for an extended period of time you will find the rev limiter.

Again, not sure if you are suggesting it's down on power cause its not hitting the limiter but just wanted to clear that up.

Nice score by the way, have fun with the build! I got my cart straight off the course for 400 bucks. Gotta love a sweet deal :)
The cart still has the rev limiter hooked up. When I am at full pedal, something makes a rattling sound. The sound is obviously much more pronounced when the rear cover is off. I should have the cart back together by the weekend and I will try to get a more specific location of the noise.

thanks for your help.

They sure did, I got the lift on, but the front bearings and shockswere trashed so I ordered some up. They should be here in a few days along with the driven clutch.

The body also showed up via freight today.....

Nice Sporty brother. I have a 1200 that I'm using to build a hard tail. You can probably see it in the background on some of the picks.
