Default Gas tank 99 club car ds

Something came up and punctured my gas tank while on the trails. At first glance it looks like the whole body is going to have to come off to replace it...is this true?

I never had the need to pull one out but if you do it's only going to be the rear body so I'd give that an hour tops. Not rocket science but from memory the tank is just held in by two straps and should come out without that extra effort. I'll check on mine tomorrow.

Lol I know it's not rocket science but the rear seat kit and canopy, make it a little more then an in and out job. I may look at an alternative way of mounting the new tank.

Funny how we miss the obvious sometimes. I did check my cart today and it does indeed require some strategy. For such a seemingly simple job I'd have to say three hours for a full replacement of the tank. It's a bigger job than I thought
