Power Drive1 shut off
Are the PowerDrive chargers supposed to shut off no matter what after 16 hours? 1st time this has happened. 2001 CC DS, PowerDrive1 charger, plugged in 8pm yesterday. 2:30pm today still going and looked like @ 5a. Batteries gurgling like crazy..strong acid smell. Unplugged, water level still above plates. Batteries 4.5 yrs old, I know towards the end of their life cycle. Pack Voltage @ 8pm today between 50.9 and 51v. I always watch the charger when I plug them in to see if they do the OBC self test of turning on , then off, then on again.

Yes, the PD chargers are supposed to shut off no matter what after 16 hours. Maybe try an OBC reset...

Re: Power Drive1 shut off
Is the timer in the obc or the charger?
