Default OK go ahead and Laugh, I am goin o ask electric guys questions about Gas

Since BILs can't finger out how to charge batteries, We are going gas- And I won't listen to I dont know how to fill it.

I have found an early 90's yamahopper hand sprayed Camo a Dealer is selling this cart from a tradde in

a 87 2cycle ezgo camo owned by farmer mid Missouri,

A 97 club car that the guy spent a ton on and had a new non club car motor put in and wont start looks almost new- My Neighbor is a serious gear head and my cousin had 37 years active duty national Guard as a chief Mechanic and after his last heart attack, he retired and couldn't handle it, so now he fixes lawn mowers and riders- I think he could figure out why it doesnot work

any oppinions? Nothing bad now

thanks guys

well if it were me.....which one is truly in the best shape mechanically? and do you want a project or something to get in and go?

if a little bit of a project is ok, and you mention that the club car owner had spent a ton in it, of it was done right, and the only thing wrong is its not running, and you have an "IN" for a small engine mechanic.....if the price is right, I would go with the club car.

Do you know what kind of motor went in the Club Car? I might lean that way but if the dealer couldn't fix it........hmmmmmm

Can't go wrong with a Yamahopper either.........

That would be a clone.. Question is what does "It won't run" mean. Fire ? Turn over ? Stay running ? etc.. It is probably just a not hooking the wires up correctly

I'd go for the CC with the clone if it were me.

But, it looks like it is a pull-start only. If you have a bad back, you may find that to be problematic.

I bet there is an electric start motor hiding in there somewhere. As for no fire, the clones are pretty simple when it comes to ignition. There is probably a kill wire attached to something it shouldn't be and shorting out the fire. If you can, put it on jack stands and disconnect all wires from the motor, turn the On/Off button to On and pull the rope. See if it fires then, if no, the coil may be shot
