Yes it clicks and pops all over the place, I think I fixed that by purchasing an All Sports long travel lift.

Re: CC DS frame
When we lift a DS cart doesn't the lift kit attach a little more fwd than stock? IMO the DS cart doesn't have alot of meat or edge distance to grab/tie into for our aftermarket lift kits. I have an A ARM 8" with 25" tires. My front is weak but I have really spent some time drilling some more holes and trying to secure it better to the front. I know how to weld I just need to break down and spend the cash on a wire feed that does alum & steel. I like your cart and the fab work you have done.

The All Sports long travel lift is a lot "bigger" or longer front to back than the stock so it should hold the front end much better and the long travel independent suspension will eliminate the twisting of the frame. Technically the stock frame twists as part of the suspension when ran off road once you reach the limit of the stock travel

Re: CC DS frame
Gary I had some cracks on some welds on the braces in the picture that made popping sounds. might want to check them before you put it back together .

Tim what suspension is that? I can't see me not using long travel on any of the carts I build up in the future

Here are a couple photos 1 shows how we fixed and reinforced the frame were you mentioned. The other shows how wide the long travel are and how much it supports the frame. Sent from my Nexus 10 using Tapatalk |
