Adding brake lights to a Drive/G29?
I just got back from a beach trip and it was my first time using the cart on the road in a highly trafficked area. It became very obvious that I could benefit from some brake lights. I have a 2011 PTV, so it comes with the head and tail lights preinstalled. I see there is a Yamaha upgrade kit that adds brakes and turn signals but I'm not really interested in the turn signals nor the $300+ price tag for the kit.
Is there another option to add the brake lights? Can the brake light switch/module be sourced indepent of the upgrade kit? |

Re: Adding brake lights to a Drive/G29?
If you are creative you can do it. I fabbed up a bracket for a generic starter button and used it. I'm really cheap so I put in all my lights and such for about 60.00 bucks. Has passed all inspections for the different areas that we use it in.
