Ok ... Well the solenoid tested ok even with the crispy resistor. The wire was intact, just had plastic crusted to it. That pole did however break while I was adjusting wires afterwards, so I have to replace it anyways.
I tested the batteries and they are ok. MCOR test 1 passed, however MCOR test 2 failed showing 0 volts. This concerns me because it implies a bad speed controller. Have to test the wiring continuity tomorrow. However, would a bad controller prevent the batteries from charging? Like I said, when I plug in the charger, the charger clicks but never starts up. |

Carts up and running. Replaced the solenoid resistor, and replaced some rough looking wire terminals on the same solenoid post(+). Also replaced the forward reverse switch. Runs like a champ now. May even be a little faster. :)
