A Club Car limousine steering column is shorter than a DS column and fits the exact same way. I think it's 2" shorter.

I checked on line and those parts come up to $55 plus shipping. This would be cool if they worked. I never had my steering column off so I need to see what that takes to do. Thanks CTD & David !!

Steering column removal is pretty easy, disconnect the joint above the rack, two bolts go through horizontally behind the dash, and one vertical bolt secures it under the dash, accessed from above the pedals. I'll be watching this to see if it works, very interesting.

Wonder if David could sell me the parts? It will be a few weeks anyway. Still trying to get a VIN with the state of Florida so I can get insurance.

Just another thought, the tube cover you probably wouldn't even need. Since it's just black plastic, you could cut down your current one and save a little money.

Or get a shiny stainless one and cut that down to fit.
