Default Click

I know moving from gas to electric I'm going to have to get used to certain clicking noises, and an occasional whistle. But I'm wondering why I hear one click.

I shut the switch off when I get off. I come back in a few minutes and upon climbing on the cart I hear a click even before turning the key.

Why does it click just by me getting on the cart with the switch shut off?

Sorry. 2008 Yamaha drive, 48 volt.

So do 36 volt clicks sound different then 48 volt clicks.

Depends on if you've got a super duty solenoid or not, you'll know the click of one of those bad boys when you hear it.

click when you sit down ? there is no electronics to seat .. my guess (just a guess) is with the lift ... it's the springs or bushings

It sounds just like one of the electronic clicks you hear at other times, like when turning the key off and on. It sounds like it's coming from behind me.

I'll pay a little closer attention to it today and see if I can be more specific.

roll away prevention. The cart has noticed a small amount of motion, and is trying to stop it. Yes, it can somehow do it with the brake locked. Next time you approach the cart, before you sit down, grab a roof support and give it a shake, cart will activate. Unlock brake and try to push cart, it will try to stop you. This will happen anytime the tow switch is on, IF the tach sensor is plugged in.

Yes it's coming from the back. I slow down to go over speed bump. I roll over them with front tire then give a little gas to make the back tire go over them.
