Default 4G wires to motor?

So I have replaced all of the wires for the batteries with 4 gauge and I noticed that the wires to the motor were still 6 gauge. Will it help too if I replace those with 4 gauge? Yam 99 G16e 36v

Absolutely! The 2 small wires on the F terminals will be fine the way they are tho.
