Thanks for responding Sergio. It definitely clicks, so I will check the mid-range switch.

Smile Re: Another DS Not Moving

I just had a failure of the micro-switches on my 97 CC DS. There are three and I found one tab that had broken off one of the micro-switches altogether so I replaced all three. That seemed to solve my issues. The wires that attached to the micro-switches were rough also so I ended up cutting off the ends and redoing all the connections.

Default Solution

I want to thank everyone for their responses. The problem was the connectors to the micro switches. I moved a couple around and the cart started moving. I went one better and added a small dab of current conducting grease to each connection.
Wow, it is a new cart.

One of the symptoms I never mentioned was that I have always had jerky starts both in forward and reverse. Now I can slowly advance the throttle and it will creep forward or I floor it. It accelerates fine. The end result is smoother starts.

Thanks again all. I am a happy camper 8^)

Angry Re: Another DS Not Moving

Well I am no longer a happy camper. The same old problem has reared its ugly head. Today I moved the cart to the yard and let it sit for an hour. I got back, turned it on and hit the pedal. It clicks, but it doesn't run in either forward or reverse. I jiggled all the connections around the F/R switch. Still won't run. The batteries are at full charge. I rolled the cart back and forth. The micro switches are working.
Once again I am looking for suggestions.

TIA
