To get the controller to put B+ on the Yellow Pin-7, the following pins have to have full battery pack voltage on them.
J1 Pins 1, either 2 or 3, 4, 5, 8 & 9
J3 Pins 1, 2, 3 & 4
Also, you should have B+ on J4 Pin-1 with pedal up and on J4 Pins 1 & 2 with pedal down.
J4 Pin-2 is the voltage source (from the controller) for the pedal switch and J4 Pin-1 is the switched leg.
Pedal up, Pin-1 should be full pack voltage and Pin-2 should be Zero.
Pedal down, both Pin-1 and Pin-2 should be full pack voltage.

J1 I have voltage on Pins 4,5 (not 1,3,8,9)

J3 Pins 1,2,3,4 all have voltage

J4 Pins 1,2 nothing. Unless I jump B+ to + on the solenoid then they work as you described.

However Pin 10 does have voltage.

I believe you're in the market for a new controller.

Iím sure by now you have learned a valuable lesson. No matter how simple the electrical project is, disconnect the main power source. Sorry about this bad experience.
