Default ezgo steering play

I have several ezgo electric carts that have play in the steering . What is the cause and fix . All models pre 2000 and post 1995

I believe the rack rod wears out if you replace this it get some
of the play out. Replacing the whole rack is expensive about $600!!
also theres a grease fitting on it once you replace the rod grease
it real good..

Welcome to the forum and hope this info helps!!!

Amazing, I just logged on to post the same question. I've got an 87 Marathon with some play in the steering. Is the fix the same?

You know guys, first your going to have to determine what part is wore out, it could be a bearing, the rack, a tie rod end, ect, ect. This question is pretty open, kinda like asking, why won't my car start.......

I think ruredy pretty much summed it up. No one here can tell you "What" is wore...only give you suggestions on what to look for.
