Hey React,

I just wanted to say thank you for the information and research that you provide to the forum members. Its only a matter of time before someone hacks or get access to the Factory level parameter on the curtis software. Keep up the good work and again, thanks to you and all the Forum members who go out of their way to help us.

Cheers,

D Vegas

Thats correct
Well for ppl with newer or ac units they can use the advanced cloning mode to write parameters changed with an hex editor
But my old 1225 unit doesnt support that

Im thinking of using an serial port analyzer to record the handshaking between the 1314 and the mc
Perhaps i can simulate it and send the par file manually
Any help from fellow members would help us all

Ok ive posted a picture of my unit and the cpu
its a special from motorola, i guess i cant just connect to the internal eeprom with an stand alone programmer

I have the scooter as on the foto but have placed 2 child seats on the back

hmm... i'm surprised to see a custom µC in there!

i wonder if that 393 comparator is handling the overvoltage protection???

I was also thinking to influence the measured voltage, just place a zener diode in series of the measure circuit and make it some volts lower but i know the controller also measures the output and might go in protection and turn off because in/out is not in balance

Well next step is use an serial analizer program to see which codes are being sent to iniciate communication
i already found out that i need to send a double point symbol (:)
in hyperterm to open the controllers com port, after this it seems to feedback data

i have to record a connection process of the 1314 and find the differences
perhaps i can simulate and send just some different values with hyperterm

Bingo!! i have finally programmed the calibration 2 parameter -without the 1314oem just with terminal

When i look with my scope i can see now that i get more voltage output = speed! my power supply goes until 29 volts and it comes unpulsed out of the controller with 100% trottle!
Tomorrow i will try a ride cause its 11 pm here now

Well it has been quite a puzzle to find out how the serial code works but now i can change all the parameters including the factory ones

If ppl want i can see if i can explain and write a manual how to do it

you have to monitor your serial port,
There are many freeware programs for this

When the monitor runs then you just connect with your controller with the 1314
The serial data which comes out contains all the parameters in the same order as theyre in the par file

Well i need to write the manual with examples to explain how to calculate it ill find some time soon
