93 par car oil pump question
If the oil pump has been deemed non-functioning and oil intake line plugged. Is it alright to remove the oil pump from the timing plate cover. As well as the cable that connects to the carburetor. Is there any point to keeping all those parts if they are not in use.

Re: 93 par car oil pump question
It is OK to remove the unused parts but any hole or cavity leading to inside engine should be covered by a permanent plate or cover. I have not done this on a par car but have on many other engines so just use common sense and don't leave anything open.
