I couldn't find the new intake but was able to get it done with some various plumbing parts. I think it will work.

I have a friend who use to be a club car service guy, and he told me that club car use to sell a bracket that you add to the existing bracket that raises the cable. He said it was about a 1 1/2 to 2 inches, and was used on the factory 3 in lift kits on the carryalls. I don't have any pics of my bracket but I modified it and have had no problems since. and did NOT HAVE TO CUT THE FRAME. :(
