New SG cannot get a charge
Have fitted new SG with the small red and green FD wires along with a new 3 wire mechanical VR.The starter works fine,but I cannot get a charge.A voltmeter on the battery shows 12.9 static but when running constantly flicks between 11.5 and 0.5.Grounding the green wire makes no difference,the SG ohms all read correct.It is wired as per a J38 diagram.
