Keep us posted...Mine bolted in and ran good. The choke is spring loaded to close automatically. Be sure it does, or temporarily disconnect it. Mine starts with no choke!Try new plugs? BPR4ES If nothing else does it we may go to the valves....
The tube is a pollution thing. It shouldn't make it run bad. I'll keep thinking about it. If we can't get it soon, I'll call my ez go dude.

this is just a thought but is you coil new? if not then when it gets hot and starts missing, pour some cold water over the coil and see if it straightens up. i would still check the valves. grab a 10 mm wrench and a flat head and see what they measure out at. should be .004 -.006

Yea it's a new MCI motor and came with a whole new ignition. All the coils are new. That's why I was trying to eliminate a fuel problem first. Trying to stay away from the motor as long as possible. It should be good. Plugs then valves...If the gas tricks didn't work, we may have a factory defect to find. Maybe the ground on the ignitor isn't good?
Hopefully, he'll come back and say the fuel vent was plugged.

Thanks for all the suggestions... unfortunately i was not able to work on it last night, and I'm leaving today on a hog hunting trip in So. Tx. and won't be back home until Monday. I'll start turning wrenches on my return, & will post the results ASAP. Thanks again.
