Default rookie question

I'm new to yamahas so i'm sorry. I need to know what weight of oil touse in a g16 and is there an oil filter in it.

I don't think any yamaha have an oil filter they are all splash engines. Most are 10-30 or 30w depending on temps. If it gets over 90F or so run 30w if you use it in the cold get 10-30. But I don't have a manual so just guessing. Some of the manuals are online at yamaha you can down load them. Most 4 stroke yamaha you put 1qt in and do not overfill them, they like to pump the oil into the aircleaner box and make a big mess if you do. Otherwise great carts.
