Default ezgo workhorse 800

I have a workhorse 800 that I picked up and the motor seemed to be locked up
well it was out of oil I added oil and freed it up it ran did seem to have a lack of power, we were riding around and it locke up again, i can turn the shaft on the motor so almost a whole revolution and it stops and i can turn it the other direction about the same amout and it stops again, so what is broken and how do i fix it i was going to take it out and start taking it apart to find out what is broken, any suggestions, is there a rebuild kit, how hard would this under taking be i am pretty mechanical even though i am mostly electrical I like working on my own stuff if i can with out screwing it up..

thanks

That cart would of come with two different motors, we would need to identify your cart year and then the motor, if you go to the stickies, you can download some information to help guide you.

Forget the oil injection and just premix your oil at 50:1 for the first tank or so. Then progress up to 128:1
