Change Differential/Gear Box oil on a G1?
Hi there, I have a 84 G1. The owners manual talks about changing the gear box oil every 2 years. I was able to open the level bolt and the oil in there is a grayish color. The SAE 90 I bought to top up is..well. oil color! I dont see a drain plug anywhere. Can you suction the old oil out and refill or is there another way?
Thanks, Stalt |

Should be a drain just like the level plug, but lower. You could suck it out, but its condition sounds like allowing it time to drain then drip would get more complete oil change.
