You can use the frame rail/seat support between the battery box and the motor area. You can make a mount that extends between the shock mounts. It doesn't have to be a heavy metal as it won't be supporting a great deal of weight. Both locations have been used with a lot of success.

Shane. I put 8 T145s under the seat. I've got some pictures somewhere.. I took the controller bracket out and cut the rear of the feet off. It will then slide back just in front of the fender well and will give you enough room to stuff a battery in there. Since I had the 145s they are taller so I had to make some mods to the seat handrail bracket to clear the battery stud.. I also had to make a platform for the battery to sit flat on..

Finally finished, ended up keeping controller and solenoid under the seat but wasn't able to keep solenoid where I had it originally due to clearance issues with the battery. Moved it beside the controller which I actually like better makes the programming port more accessible. Scrapped the pans and made battery trays and welded them to the frame all is left to do is make the hold downs like the pictures Scotty posted. also the batteries I bought are the same as what I have but the look different anybody know why?

Are your new batteries same Amp Hour rating as your old ones???? They should be or you will have problems.
