I'm pretty new to this forum myself. What all are you able to accomplish with the RXV controller, Bob? Mine is a 2014 and is set to run 19.5 from the dealer I bought it from.

This is for the stock 235 Amp controller... 2 guage battery cables recommended.

First is the accell rate. I can make one wheelie if I want to, but I don't recommend it. Not good for the drivetrain. But snappy response is nice to have, especially if you are into racing your neighors. Leave them eating your dust.

Top speed with the ~18" stock tires (they vary a bit in actual size) is around 27/28 MPH, 20.5" tires is around 32 MPH.

Regen braking is improved to compensate for the higher speeds. And I like to set it for 1 pedal drving. You hold the pedal at whatever speed you want to travel at... You mash it harder to speed up, and let up on it to slow down. This makes the brake pedal hardly ever needed, only for emergency stopping or if someone pulls out in front of you.

Best part is the price. You just pay the postal fee both ways.

Question for Bob - I just got back the controller you modified for me this week, but the company I ordered my 2 gauge cable set from hasn't even shipped my order yet, heck it took them 2 days to "receive" my order

Can I run the stock cables for a week or so until my 2 gauge set comes in or is that asking for trouble?

Thanks!

I just made it home from South Carolina. Yes, you can run the stock cables until you can install the 2 guage cables. Performance will be down a bit until you do.

We had him kidnapped and were forcing him to eat bbq. We went on a road trip to go help another member yesterday and another this morning. He headed home this afternoon to home.

Wow Bob, you really make the rounds!

One more question - I can't get it to charge on the Delta Q charger...did I forget to connect a wire or something? It all looks good and matched my pictures. I did only run it for like 10 minutes, maybe 2 or 3 miles? But my old club car would charge no matter how long I drove it.

BTW I averaged 27 mph on stock tires...up medium steep hills, down hills, flats, same MPH! so much better than my old fixed up club car!
