Series cart bogs on hills
I've got a bone stock Series cart that hauls on the flat but bogs on hills.
Just today, I installed 6 brand new 6v bats and again, it's bogging on hills. No improvement whatsoever. Battery cables are new also but the motor/controller wire is OE. Is it time for a new controller, or motor or both? |

Re: Series cart bogs on hills
Series carts slow on hills. How steep of a hill, and how slow. You say it hauls on flats? How fast? 12-14 is typical of a stock series cart.
Which batteries did you install, and what was the resting voltage? Get a meter, attach to the pack and see how much it drops while trying to hammer it uphill. |
