91 Ezgo gxt-800 build
Ok. I know everyone loves to see pics and I should’ve taken more and I plan to when/if I decide to go v-twin. Thank you to everyone on this forum for ideas/Info.
This is only pic of what it looked like originally. Body was pretty good but it had been sitting for few years. There were small trees growing inside of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: 91 Ezgo gxt-800 build
It has 415cc clone type motor. I made the motor plate, modified original bracket for starter/generator, made the lift kit, painted it, added electrical switches and wires, cut drilled tapped and welded 1-1/8” hole saw and grinded it down to make tapered shaft for clutch lol and I believe that’s about it. It’s an ongoing project but it’s really the cart I’ve always wanted. I like the diamond plate and the style bed that’s on it.

Re: 91 Ezgo gxt-800 build
Thanks man. I’d like to have bigger motor bc it’s a pretty heavy cart but it’s enough. It’ll cut doughnuts and dust everyone else’s stock cart that live on my street. Not too bad in the mud either with those tires

Do you have a copy of the wiring diagram that you used for the starter/generator. Please post if you have one
