It will have about 1/3 less torque and speed.

You'll also need the correct Field Map for the motor and I'm not sure if one exists for a 48V motor runnig on a 36V battery pack.

If you upgrade to a 48V battery pack, it'll work well.

Check out the motor specs, some are listed for both 36V & 48V and they just run better at 48V.

Already got motor sent to plum quick, also, one of the armature windings came loose or something and shorted on field. No chance that messed up the new alltrax controller is there? Please tell me no

The XCT has short circuit protection on its outputs, so it probably survived.

Also, if the codes went away when you removed the M- cable, that is a very good sign the XCT is still okay.
