Re: Replacing controller with Alltrax, is this the correct one to get?
No.
You want the XCT version that has jack(s) that match the plugs on your cart's wiring harness. You attached a picture of a Curtis 1264-5405 controller to your Post#1, so you probably need an XCT48x00 1264/1268 controller plus an adapter cable, maybe. Best to email Alltrax and tell them what cart and controller you have. You'll also need to tell them the make and model of the motor in your cart so they can supply they correct field map. |

I can probably get the harness all put back & spliced together if that's best? I was planning on getting the Alltrax and just splicing everything to its harness. Does the harness impact which Alltrax I get or if I splice does that open me up to a few models? I'm going to email Alltrax today too. |

Since your cart's original harness has been chopped up, you can probably rebuild the original harness, or connect the plug(s) from a different sepex drive harness and get an XCT for that type harness. Best to contact to Alltrax. |

Re: Replacing controller with Alltrax, is this the correct one to get?
So before I contact Alltrax, I'm trying to figure out what electric motor is installed in the cart.
I've found a label, but almost nothing comes up on Google. I've contacted Dana (Spicer) and I've been bounced around their phone systems and they eventually directed me to another 3rd party who said they'll try and find info from Spicer directly. These are the pictures of the labels I found and I took w/an inspection camera. The text reads: SPICER 07-30-2001 2A 012AJ320 1 L811002 S.N. 1362326 I'm of the understanding I need some information for the field maps for the new controller. |

That is the transaxle. You need to take pictures of the motor.

Is it?? It's on the very end of the cylinder thing. Lol, if it's the transaxle then I've got a few people (email & phone) at a few companies trying to figure out wtf it is. I'll take another run at it in the daylight and see if I can figure it out.

Re: Replacing controller with Alltrax, is this the correct one to get?
Is there a specific spot on the motor where a label would be? Mine is very difficult to get to at all angles and I can't seem to find one with my inspection camera.
Or would somebody recognize it just by appearance? I think I have to jack the cart back up and/or remove several of the batteries to even get a good look at it. |
