I was just asking, I’m new to all this and just want to learn. I’m gonna hook it up since I already have it. What would be a good thing to tap into for the wire to run to pin 3?

There is already a wire in pin 3 (red with yellow line) runs to the run/tow switch.... is that what I need? Or do I have to run my own?

One wire on pin#3 to tow/run switch is enough.

How about pin positions #9 and #23?

9 and 23 should be there as they were part of the original 1264 harness personality plug

So I just checked and there is 48v running from pin 3 to the run/tow switch, no more fault code being displayed. Is the controller light suppose to light up at all?

Yeah I got the walkaway installed and it stopped reading the 2-5 fault code when plugged in, but still stuck in putts mode. If I unhook the walkaway relay it goes right back to 2-5 and still stuck in putts mode....

#9 and #23 run right to that little 5 pin plastic connector that I have the walkway pulled into.

There is also a 3rd wire coming off of the walk away 5 pin connector, it’s a red wire but is capped off

The motor and controller came out of a 2016 EZGO S4, would that make a difference? Would I have to get the controller reformatted or anything?
