The marathon and this TXT have 2 different half speed reverse systems. The only similarity between the 2 systems is that they exist. Charge up your batteries. Get your multifunction DC test meter out and start a new thread with the yr and make of your cart. Good Luck  |

I have a 96 EZGO txt, i bought this from a guy and they have a new Navitas controller with th eOTF programmer, new Solenoid, New Heavy duty F&R switch, the cart also runs slow in Forward but screams in reverse. any suggestions on how to fix this?

This problem has affected my Marathon. The F/R was replaced recently, the batteries and cables are good. Out of nowhere, just like others in this thread, the cart starts off fine and then becomes very slow in forward and expecially up a grade. In reverse, it has more power. I have a factory manual, but hoping someone has an easy answer.
The fact that it ran good all this Summer doesn't make me suspect a miswired F/R switch. Any ideas? |
