I am sure it does... however code didn’t reply apply when this place was built, for some reason.

Who pays for the electricity? If the tenants each have their own meters, you would think that they would have their own "utility" circuit.

Lees23, if You don't have a way to add another circuit and can handle simple electrical wiring, here is an idea:

Buy a smart power strip like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Bits-LCG-3MVR...0ASZT6MC3RCW86

Buy a 120vac relay like this:
https://www.amazon.com/American-Zett...1NE/ref=sr_1_2

You will also need a 3 prong 14ga extension cord, a 2 prong extension cord and a box.

Cut the 14ga 3-prong cord and wire the hot (black) wire in series with the relay N.C. contacts (male prong side to the N.C. terminal and the female receptacle side to the COM terminal).
The Neutral (white) and ground (green) wires go straight through.

Cut the 2-prong cord and run the wires from the male plug to the relay coil terminals.

Keep the above inside a small surface mount extension box.

To use it, plug your main charger to the power strip "control outlet".

Plug the 2-prong cord to any "automatically switched" outlet in the power strip.

Plug the 3-prong cord to any "always ON" outlet in the power strip.

Finally plug your secondary charger to the 14ga extension cord female receptacle.

That way the secondary charger can only run if the primary charger is not pulling power.

Even if the main charger does a "test" (turns off/on during a cycle), it will not be a problem since those outlets keep the "automatically switched" outlets ON for a minute after the "control outlet" is no longer drawing power which will keep the secondary plug OFF.

Not necessarily, that outlet could be on the same circuit but BEFORE the GFCI.

Don't know what your electric rates are, but I think it costs way less than $1 to charge a cart.

Yeah I calculated it a while ago. It’s a few cents per charge.

I was just being sarcastic. We don’t have a garage attached to our place. It’s really the only place I can charge the carts that is sheltered from the Elements.

Quite clever. I see how this would work.

If you do this make sure you remove it when it is no longer needed Lees23, because I'm sure it will make the next guy's head explode trying to figure it out.
