Thanks DB and Johnnie!

So Johnnie are you saying that I should not connect the fifth wire to the key switch on my Yamaha AC drive then? With my uber basic knowledge and near total lack of experience with carts I thought (assumed?) that the only difference with an AC was the motor and controller. Guess I figured the batteries and energy were the same until it got to the controller or possibly a transformer (if I understand the first part of that last post). This is turning out to be more of a learning experience than I anticipated ha but I’m all for it and very appreciative of all you sharing your knowledge.

My comments were generic and for DC to DC converters rather than for any specific carts or AC drives or DC drives.

Also, I know nothing about Yamaha AC carts and very little about DC Yamaha carts.
