Default 2008 PDS very slow

I put in a new FSIP high torque motor, Alltrax 500 controller, 48v 400amp solenoid and brand new T875s in my cart tonight. Got it all in and went to go and it hobbles along at 3 mph. I’ve read enough here to know I must have wired something wrong. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? The other thing worth mentioning is that I was not able to hook up the speed sensor from the motor to the controller. I did not have a wire to connect it. Is that causing my issue?

No speed sensor is part of it. Go in with Toolkit and uncheck the "Enable Speed Limit" box. That'll help, but it will still won't operate at its full potential until the speed sensor is connected. (Be sure to check that box when you get the speed sensor connected.)

Also looks like the regen diode is installed backwards. The banded end of the diode between the solenoid's large terminals should face the one with the B+ cable from the battery pack on it. I suspect that diode being backwards is causing a pre-charge failure error, putting controller into a creep mode.
