Default Jake’s 6” drop spindles - squirrelly steering

So I bought this TXT and it was well used. Springs were flat and rear bushings were gone. I replaced all leaf springs and installed a 6” Jake’s lift kit, along with new wheels and tires. This thing is dangerous to drive. It’s like the castor is way off. It hates running a straight line and if you let go of the wheel, the cart will whip in either direction.
From what I can find out, the only adjustment is toe and I’ve tried it with zero toe and with 1/8” toe in, as I’ve seen recommended. What am I missing?

Have someone sit in the drivers seat. Then, look under the cart as the person turns the wheel left\right and see what's loose.

Check your tie rod ends first. I had loose tie-rod ends after my install. The cotter pin hole on the tie rod was too far down and allowed the nut to loosen. I drilled a hole for each in the correct place so the nut would not loosen again.

But you gotta peek to see if anything is sloppy first.

Thank you Dave,
I’ve checked everything in the front end and it is all tight. There is about 5 degrees of steering wheel free play in the rack. But this thing feels like the front tires want to flip around like the front wheels on a shopping cart. I’m still stumped!

Let’s hope some others with previous issues like this jump in. If it’s all tight and toed in properly, I’m lost as well.
