Conversion to yamaha gas drivetrain?

I have a g16 gas that's rusting out and 2009ish era ezgo electric I'd like to convert to gas, anyone ever done that?

Never done that, but getting the junk out & a yamaha in will be great. I'm down to help as much as I can. You know this probably wont be cheap by the time your done with it?

At least the wiring will be easy, they just run, and a "auto parts store solenoid" will likely be most expensive wiring part.
