09 TXT 36v Cable Upgrade - 13 PCs?
Bought a set of 2ga wires to replace my old 4ga ones and the kit came with 13 cables, but I have 3 cables left over?
Picture attached show 5: 2 for battery, 2 for motor, 1 jumper off solenoid. Then 5 across the 6 batteries. Am I missing something? 2 long ones and 1 medium one left over. Do I replace the other 2 smaller gauge wires on motor? 2nd Pic |

Re: 09 TXT 36v Cable Upgrade - 13 PCs?
You bought a cable set for a series drive (13 or 14 cables) and you have a sepex drive (PDS), which only needs 10 cables.
If they are in good condition, the original F1 & F2 cables are sufficient, they only carry up to 50A max. |
