Re: Bent spindles?
From the looks of the picture the ends of the axle (part that holds the spindle) was cut from the stock square axle and welded to the fabbed suspension you have now.
The factory spindles are not made at 90 degrees from wheel axle shaft (horizontal) to kingpin (vertical). You need to get you cart set at ride height, measure the angle of the axle shaft and cut the correct wedge out of the top of your A-arm (behind the spindle bracket) and reweld it. keep in mind looking from the side, the kingpin should also lean back around 7 degrees as well. |

Re: Bent spindles?
Just thought I'd let you guys know that I cut a wedge out of the top of my A-Arms. There were 5 tubes going onto the Spindle Bracket, cut the top 4 and left the bottom one uncut so I could just cut the wedge out of the top, leaving the bottom connected as a bend point.. Took about an 1/8" off and it looks great now!!

Re: Bent spindles?
The way these arms were designed, it is fixed camber. I made sure I got it with a little negative camber and made sure I had it just where I wanted it before welding it

Re: Bent spindles?
If it was done right with you knowing what you wanted, It should never need adjustment. If it's out of line, heat and put it in line .... no big deal. That stuff bends

Re: Bent spindles?
That stuff wouldn't bend, unless i just bent the top and bottom brackets and hammered them until they bent to where i wanted them. But like you just said, It was done right with me knowing what I wanted =D
