2001 48v club car value
ok here it goes i have a 95 ez-go 36 volt series. i just upgraded new batteries and 4 ga wiring. it has factory size tires height. i wanted to use for hunting and riding rought terrain trails. i installed a "Jakes" lift. However the cart still doesn't have the power so desired. the card is kinda beat up with a few dents so i don't think i have much resale in it, at least not what i put in it.
any way a friend has a 2001 clubcar 48v with a 6 in lift large mud grip tires. the cart needs new batteries and may need to upgrade wiring. the cart is in almost perfect condition. clean paint and clean rubber. i see it costing 700 for batteries and another 150 for wiring. does any one know what a good price to offer for it.? I plan on keeping the ez-go for the kids to play in the yard and want the 48v clubcar for the woods. the question is what would be the top end and bottom end on price for the clubcar. i will try to find out more about year and model. i do know that the forward and reverse is the mechanical Handel below the seat. ps is there a way that i could put the 6 volt batteries in it and just add two more to make it 48v. thanks again russell |

I would think if you could pick the club car up for around $1500 it that would allow you to make your upgrades knowing it has issues.
